Lately I was asked for help with Paladins list and I think the lists that came from few conversations look great so I hope someone will get inspired by them or simply use them to some success.

Big Gun Paladins

I was asked for tweaking existing list with additional power projection so slow Paladins don’t have to move to every problem that has to be solved. Fortunately new CoS allies in form of Battle Priests freed some points and made this beautiful lists possible:

If Divine Blessings are used in your area you can consider downgrading Protector to Retributor to add +1 Crit DMG on Judicator.

If you want to have the cake (4 Paladins with Starsoul Mace) and eat it too (invest in a strong ranged unit) you can change both Judicator and Protector to Paladins with Starsoul Mace and instead of Retributor Prime you can pick Judicator-Prime with Boltstorm Crossbow and even add Might (+1 Strength) blessing on him

Using similar Template there are multiple variants that can easily be created. The recipe is simple:

Retributor-Prime (180pts, Hero)

Battle Priest (65pts, Hero)

Battle Priest (65pts, Hero)

Paladin with Starsoul Mace (155pts)

Paladin with Starsoul Mace (155pts)

Paladin with Starsoul Mace (155pts)

Paladin with Starsoul Mace (155pts)/Protector (140)/Retributor (130pts)

70-95 points to upgrade one of the Paladins or a leader to a Prosecutor/Judicator. You can even take 2 of them if cheaper ones will work for you

I really liked the list above and decided to go one step further and transform Paladins to even more “shooty” warband.

Thunder-Lizard Paladins

This composition lets you have one Paladin and one shooting unit in every deployment group. It could be done before with Xepic instead of Battle Priest so I’m curious if someone tried it. If you did please let me know how it worked out for you.

I really like both lists and despite the fact I didn’t show a Prosecutor variant I think using one of the fliers instead of Judicator can also be a great decision thanks to better usage of Furious Avengers
